Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain functional, regression, integration and end-to-end tests using Java & Python
Work with our QA Engineer to design, develop and maintain functional, regression, integration and end-to-end tests
Think strategically to improve testing processes and help define best practices while providing high quality and scalable solutions
Maintain and enhance automation frameworks, in-house tools that can be used by both Development and QE
Work closely with functional SME & development teams to support back end, infrastructure and analytics testing
Required Background:
Extensive programming background with at least 3 years hands-on experience in building test automation solutions using Java & Python
Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases with the ability to write complex queries and understand details of a database model required
Excellent understanding RESTful/SOAP APIs and automation using SOAP UI or equivalent
Experience in building test automation frameworks & integrating the solutions with CI pipeline
Good understanding of Test-Driven Development and Behavioral Driven Development strategies and approaches
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
Strong verbal/written communication skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
Results oriented, highly organized who can handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced agile environment
